First VALOUR-recognised centres announced

The government has confirmed the first 14 organisations to receive funding to develop VALOUR-recognised centres across the UK.
The centres form part of the wider VALOUR programme, which is intended to improve how veterans access local support across areas such as health, housing, employment, and wider services. The wider programme is also expected to include a headquarters within the Office for Veterans’ Affairs, field officers, and an online support platform.
At this stage, the announcement confirms the organisations selected for the first round of funding. How each centre will present its VALOUR role locally may vary, and veterans should continue to check each organisation’s own website for the most current information.
