MOD Veterans Services referral route now online

The Ministry of Defence has published a new GOV.UK guidance page for people seeking help from Veterans Services.
Veterans Services provides information, guidance and welfare support for service leavers, veterans and immediate family members. The page says support may cover areas including mental health and wellbeing, physical health and rehabilitation, housing, employment, finance, family or relationship breakdown, and links to local, regional and national support.
The page includes an online referral form, along with phone, email and postal routes. Veterans Services says it aims to make contact within five working days after a referral.
The guidance describes MOD Veterans Services, which brings together welfare support including the Veterans Welfare Service, Defence Transition Services and Integrated Personal Commissioning for Veterans.
Some specialist health services may still have their own referral routes, so the page should not be read as replacing existing clinical referral pathways.
